MELANATED39 is a platform that is created to offer a safe space for people of African Descent, it is filled with different forms of literature and media, all of which aim to educate, represent, unite and uplift people of African Descent.

The gold represents the royalty and importance of the motherland (Africa/Afrika/Alkebulan) each and every bloodline and our history.

OUR MOTIVATION

What motivates us is the people who come after us and those who came before. It would be a shame for us to leave this earth with the problems that our ancestors face for our children. So with this platform, we create a space where our people of melanin can come and simply be. Where we can be educated, uplifted, cherished, heard, and seen. This is where we come to see our reflections—see our faces, our features—hear our stories, learn about ourselves and our people. This is where unity and freedom start as we begin the journey to reclaim the mind and reclaim ourselves.
