She is a writer of African Descent whose main purpose is to educate and inspire other people of African Descent, and offer representation on love centered around her people of all sexual orientations using different forms of literature. 

Being that she is a gay woman of African Descent she understands the lack of representation shown in the media as well as the feeling that comes with the lack of knowledge of self, which is why with her novels her main intention is to offer a place where people can go to not only find a good read but themselves. 

Her novels aim to feed the minds and souls of her people, her novels aim to invoke wisdom and the hidden knowledge of melanated people, and they aim to create a sense of community. 

However far a stream flows it doesn’t forget its origin.

She is a writer of African Descent and a women’s rights activist whose primary purpose is to create different novels that are centered around melanated women who know themselves, and their worth and aren’t afraid to express themselves. 

Being that she is a woman of African descent she understands the hardships, daily stress and expectations that are placed on a melanated woman which is why with her novels her main intention is to offer a safe place where people are able to unwind and forget about the daily struggle that is life.
