The Forgotten Book One: Chapter Four

A king with a crown,
An afro I call my own,
As I step, bend, rock, drop,
It stays firm and continues to float.

Its defiance of gravity,
Contradicts the science of gravity.

The Forgotten is a book comprised of individual chapters, all of which aim to educate people of melanin and tell the stories of forgotten/hidden knowledge. This book was created to open eyes to the harsh reality that is the conditioning of melanated minds, and with this chapter, we dedicate the wise words of our ancestors/people, “When There Is No Enemy Within, The Enemies Outside Cannot Hurt You.”

This chapter will be displayed and told by the fictional character Damion Palmer in a creative manner. His character is written to illustrate self-love for melanated features, and in this chapter, he takes his time to express his deep-rooted love for his hair and the power it holds.

Until The Lion Learns How To Write, Every Story Will Glorify The Hunter.
